a collection of ideas i tend to touch in my art.

There are a few topics I hold dear to myself and one of them most recently has been the topic of masculinity. I have been slowing picking at it within the last year, but I believe it may definitely be time to start building toward a more sturdy idea to bring a more harsh light on the topic and perhaps foment some destructive/constructive conversation around masculinities and the negative connotations in regards to it. This is a basic spider web that I did several years ago that has always been just what I think is a map on how many of these topics intersect and interact with each other. Often times I find myself feeling conflicted with things I tend to think about but remind myself that it is not all coming from me, but from my surroundings as well. I must seek change to be able to find it; it will not always fall onto my lap. It's been a lot of introspection that has brought me to a nice little place where I am able to respect myself but still dwell into the swamps of my mind and social unconscious.

These are more ideas stemming from depression and paranoid thoughts. Some cynicism as well.
